What's the difference between camera flash and a studio setup?
CAMERA FLASH
Refers to an on-camera flash used in dimly lit settings, such as outdoors at night or when natural sunlight is limited. It’s not always turned on and depends entirely on the lighting conditions at the time of your session.
STUDIO SETUP
Includes a backdrop (choice of black, white, or marbled gray, with custom colors available for an additional fee), professional lighting featuring 2 lights and stands, metering for precise exposure control, and tethering so you can select your images directly from a computer during the shoot.
What's the difference between standard retouching and high-end retouching?
STANDARD RETOUCHING
Covers essential adjustments like color correction, sharpening, and targeted clean-up. Removes small imperfections like dust and smudges. Primarily used for group and team photos, product photography, and interiors/exteriors, where you need a polished look without extensive per-image editing.
HIGH-END RETOUCHING
Builds on standard retouching with the most detailed level of editing, using multiple types of software to remove blemishes, flyaway hairs, wrinkles, and other imperfections. It’s an intricate process that can take up to an hour per photo. Primarily used for branding, headshots, and lifestyle portrait photography, where detailed retouching on single subjects is worthwhile.
Do you offer custom photography packages?
Yes. We do our best to provide business photography packages for the most commonly requested deliverables, but we understand that not every brand fits into a box. If you don’t see a package that works for you, we’re happy to discuss a custom Denver business photography package during your intro call.
What if I want more photos than what's included in my package?
If you’d like more photos than what’s included in your package, you have options. You can purchase additional images individually or get a volume discount by purchasing multiple images as a bundle. Love everything from your gallery? We also offer the option to purchase your entire gallery for a flat fee.
What if I need more than just business photography?
At Agavara, we’re a full-service creative brand studio helping Denver businesses with their branding, content creation, and online presence. Need templates for social media? No problem. Whether you work from home, use a shared co-working space, or just don’t have a traditional office, we’ll find a location that fits your brand. Local restaurants, libraries, hotels, and parks make great alternative settings. Prefer a fully controlled environment? We also offer private studio setups. *Additional fees may apply for certain locations.
What if I'm not located in South Metro Denver?
We primarily serve South Metro Denver; however, we occasionally travel outside this area. If you’re located outside our primary service area, we’ll discuss your options during an intro call.
